The natural heat source, window placements and spatial qualities of the design all came together better than we could have ever wished for in this project. The design stacks CNC milled blocks of cork together then compresses the whole thing together with the tension ropes that you see on the exterior. Cork is a highly sustainable product and offers insulation values that rival rigid insulation.
